About a month ago, Marco started acting uncomfortable in and out of the litter box. I immediately grew concerned and took him to the vet, where they discovered he had crystals in his urine that could lead to a dangerous blockage. Thankfully, we caught it early, and the vet prescribed a special urinary diet to help prevent it, which is very expensive. Marco means the world to me, so I started him on the new diet right away and kept a close eye on him.

One night, Marco suddenly became very lethargic and wasn’t able to pee at all. I rushed him to the emergency vet, where I received the heartbreaking news that he had a urinary blockage and needed an urgent procedure to save his life. I couldn’t imagine life without him, so I did whatever it took to get him the care he needed.

Marco is the sweetest cat and has been my best friend since the day I rescued him as a tiny kitten from the side of the freeway. He’s been through so much, and I want to give him the best chance at a healthy, comfortable life.

His emergency treatment and ongoing care have been a big expense, and I’m hoping to raise some support to help cover the cost of his care and his special diet moving forward.
