Help Marco Miller Overcome a Life-Changing Accident

Hello, my name is Preston Jones, and I am reaching out on behalf of my long time friend and collaborator, Marco Miller. Anyone that knows Marco can tell you that he is one of the most sincere, genuine, and loyal individuals anyone could know. He has a way of making the people in his life notice their own value and purpose because he goes out of the way to appreciate those qualities in others. He has an extremely caring heart, and an intuitive sense of the human condition, both of which he utilizes to create moving and impactful artistic works. In addition to his art practice, prior to the accident, Marco was also flourishing in his full time hourly position as special projects lead at Pink Sparrow Fabrication. Today, I am asking for your help to support Marco through a challenging time.

The Accident

On December 12, 2023, Marco's life took an unexpected turn when he was struck by a car while riding his bike home from the grocery store in Los Angeles. The impact threw him from his bike and left him with a traumatic brain injury, a fractured skull, and substantial road to recovery ahead.

The Road to Recovery

The accident resulted in severe injuries, including a traumatic right subdural hematoma (SDH), subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), and a fracture in his left occipital bone. These conditions have not only taken a toll on Marco's health but also on his ability to work and support himself. With an estimated recovery time of six months, Marco has faced confusion, memory loss, and headaches, though he's showing signs of improvement. He's been cleared for light exercise and work (professional fabrication) starting February 15, but with limitations to how much and how frequently he can work.
