So boom… Marcia bought a car. At this point we don’t know if it’s a vehicle or a character-building experience. It turns on (sometimes), it moves (bravely), but stopping? …we’re still negotiating that part.

Right now, the car needs: tires (because these ones have been through it), brakes (for obvious, life-preserving reasons), and a full tune-up (because the engine sounds like it’s telling secrets). Marcia isn’t working right now, and getting this car road-ready would be a huge step toward her independence, handling everyday life, and getting back on track.

And here’s the thing about Marcia… She will literally help anyone. Need a ride? She’d give it… if this car wasn’t fighting for its life. Need support? She’s there. Need someone to show up for you? She already did. So now we’re like… okay, it’s time for everyone else to show up for her. We’re trying to raise enough to get safe tires, fix the brakes (again… very important), and get a full front-to-back tune-up so the car stops sounding like it’s arguing with itself.
