Hi my name is Rachel Butas, Delivery Manager of the Randstad RCD, Kaiser Permanente Office Professionals Team. I am asking for your support in raising money for my team's Admin, Marcia Warren.
Marcia has been with Randstad for 10 years and is the definition of hard working and selfless. She goes above and beyond for our team, every chance she can. She is our backbone and the glue that keeps us together.
Marcia has been looking after her 85 year old mother, Daisy Warren for the last 17 years. However, 2 years ago, at the start of the COVID lock down Marcia's mom got pneumonia and was admitted to the hospital, at the time the hospitals were so overwhelmed with COVID patients that nurses were unable to get her mother up & out of bed to keep her moving due to having limited resources/staff available. As a result, Daisy lost all strength in her legs causing her to become bed bound and unable to walk. For these past 2 years, Daisy has been at home under the watchful care of Marcia. Marcia has been administering medication for her mothers rheumatoid arthritis, bathing her, assisting her to the restroom, preparing all of her meals, and more, all on her own.

Earlier this year Marcia's own health began to decline as she struggled with pain in her shoulder and both hips. Ultimately, leading her to require bilateral hip replacement surgery. On November 29th, Marcia underwent hip surgery on one hip, as she was unable to have both replaced at the same time, due to being unable to take extended time off from caring for her mother.
Unfortunately, Marcia's mothers insurance DECLINED her ANY support for covering the cost of at home care and Marcia has had to pay for it all on her own. Over the past few weeks, as Marcia has been trying to focus on her own recovery, she has had to hire help at home to care for her mother which has created a significant financial burden that she simply can not afford.
I am asking for you to donate, share and support this amazingly selfless woman that puts her family and others before herself every chance she can get. Every dollar will help lift the weight of this financial burden she is carrying so that she can focus on getting herself strong again so that she can be there to care for her mom to the best of her ability.
