Help Marcelle Study Abroad in Spain

Hi! My name is Marcelle Quesada. I am 15 years old and an incoming sophomore at the Liberal Arts and Science Academy in Austin, Texas. I am a member of the Youth and Government program at my high school where my team won first place in the state-wide competition. I also organize and participate in Model UN conferences, where I build my public speaking skills. This year, I was gifted the 2025 Global Seal Of Biliteracy for English and Spanish!

I have recently been accepted to the CIEE Global Navigator High School Abroad program. CIEE stands for the Council on International Educational Exchange. I have the opportunity to spend 4 weeks in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, studying Spanish Language and Culture.

I have been a part of dual language education my entire life, and I'm so excited to learn more about the language and strengthen my skills! CIEE is the leading nonprofit, nongovernmental student exchange organization in the U.S. and has been operating since 1947. As a Global Navigator, I will have the opportunity to receive college credit for this experience!

The tuition for program is $7050 plus airfare. This tuition includes all of my language lessons, culture classes, excursions, housing, and meals.

In order to pay for this, I created a successful cookie business at my school called Triple Treats, where I have raised over $1000 in profits. But, I am not at my personal goal yet.

Would it be possible for you to assist me in reaching this target? Any contribution would be greatly appreciated. To my contributors I will be sending postcards, photos from my trip, and even a weekly newsletter describing my experiences on the trip all depending on contribution amounts.

For $25 I will send you a weekly postcard.

For $50 I will send you a variety of photos from my trip weekly.

For $100 I will send you photos weekly along with written explanations of the memories behind the photo.

For $200+ I will email a weekly newsletter crafted by me that describes my week with photos, lessons, and memories.
