Help Marcelle Get A Manual Wheelchair

Hi, my name is Marcelle, and I'm from Ontario, Canada.

I live with multiple rare and chronic health conditions, mainly Familial Mediterranean Fever (FMF), Narcolepsy with Cataplexy (type 1), and hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (hEDS). The symptoms associated with these conditions have a significant impact on my ability to walk and be mobile.

I have a power wheelchair that I use to get around outside my apartment, but it is too big to navigate within my apartment. I'm making this fundraiser because my disability has progressed to a point where I need a manual wheelchair. The small custom manual wheelchair will help me get around my apartment, and I will use it to get around outside my home. I'm currently on ODSP, but because I recently got the power wheelchair, they can only fund a small portion of the manual wheelchair I need. I'm hoping to get a customized Quickie 2 Ultralight Wheelchair, pictured.

When we receive, we ought to give as well. So I will be donating part of the proceeds raised to Our Odyssey, an important organization. They provide year-round support to young adults living with rare and chronic health conditions.

I would appreciate the help to improve my quality of life and those of others like me.
