Hi, my name is Brooke, and I’m starting this fundraiser for my mom, Marcella.

If you know my mom, you know how strong, loving, and selfless she is. She’s the kind of person who puts everyone else first, so asking for help like this doesn’t come easily to our family.

Recently, Marcella suffered a stroke that changed our lives in an instant. While she is incredibly strong and fighting every day, her recovery is ongoing and will take time, patience, and continued medical care. Right now, her focus needs to be on healing—but the reality is that recovery comes with overwhelming financial stress.

Because of the stroke, my mom is unable to work, and the loss of income, combined with medical bills, therapy, medications, and everyday living expenses, has become a heavy burden. We want to do everything we can to support her without her having to worry about how the bills will be paid.
