Our dog Marceline was attacked by another dog on Friday, which resulted in her eyelid being torn. My girlfriend and I rushed her to the vet and paid for the cleaning, but unfortunately we were not able to afford her surgery. If we cannot get her surgery within a week and a half, we will have to surrender her, which will be heartbreaking as Marceline has saved my life and is in training to be my service dog for PTSD. I love her so much and want to do what’s best for her.

We have an eye wash that we have been using on her once a day. We have been keeping her in the crate most of the time, other than to take her outside to go potty, with a cone. The day before Marceline’s accident, I got into a motorcycle crash and have been pretty much confined to my room since, so my girlfriend has been taking care of me and doing her best to keep Marceline comfortable, but it’s been rough.
