Many of you have known Marçalo for years. Maybe he had done work for you, or maybe you needed a favor. You know he is always there for you. Now we need to be there for him.

On Sunday May 18th there was a fire in Marçalo’s storage unit. On top of losing his collection of vintage scooters, he lost the majority of his tools and his work van. These things are his lively hood. Without his tools and his van he has no way of making a living. He is starting over at 61 and needs our help.

In his panic to try to put out the fire and save his tools, Marçalo suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns to his face, hand, arm and leg. He was treated at the Davis emergency clinic and burn unit. Unfortunately, he has no medical insurance.

We are trying to gather enough funds to help cover his medical bills and to get him on his feet and back working again.
