Help Marc Overcome Bile Duct Cancer

In January 2021, my precious 47-year-old husband was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer, cholangiocarcinoma. It has turned out lives upside down and we have been educating ourselves ever since in an attempt to approach this disease from all angles. Holistic efforts aside, within the past 18 months he has been through what conventional medicine has to offer – 3 major surgeries, plus the newly current standard chemotherapy option available to people with this cancer, but we have now been told it is ‘incurable’. We are determined to find a way forward with this disease and refuse to accept a dire prognosis, given the power of innate healing we all possess and Marc’s vibrant spirit, which is very much alive. If there’s one thing we believe in, it’s never give up.

Marc is extremely focused and disciplined, and gets up at 5:30 am every morning to get his lymphatic system moving and getting as much oxygen as possible to support each cell of his body by practicing a 1.5h cycle of demanding ashtanga yoga. And before starting work he then injects himself with mistletoe, consumes a handful of supplements and other treatments you possibly don’t want to know the details of.

It's incredibly hard to see him practicing Tai Chi while in hospital and back on the yoga mat within two weeks of each operation, and still, the metastases grow back. It’s painfully clear we need to change something fast, and we hope and dream of finding significant support in staying in one of the rare comprehensive cancer clinics in Germany to be able to continue the journey towards healing. But sadly, our funds have run out.

We would be deeply grateful to anyone who supports us in making this possible – and perhaps we can offer light to anyone else going through this challenging disease, never giving up the hope that Marc can be with me and our children for a long time to come, and so we can give back all we have learned.

Im Januar 2021 wurde liebster Mann im Alter von 46 Jahren mit einer seltenen und aggressiven Krebsart, Gallengangskrebs, diagnostiziert. Seitdem ist unser Leben auf den Kopf gestellt und wir haben versucht, die Erkrankung von allen möglichen Seiten anzugehen. In den letzten 18 Monaten hatte er 4 Operationen (3 davon im direkten Krebszusammenhang) und eine Chemotherapie dazu.

Leider steht nun schon wieder der nächste Eingriff bevor.

Marc ist extrem fokussiert und diszipliniert, steht jeden Morgen um 5.30h auf der Matte, für einen 1,5 stündigen sehr fordernde Ashtanga-Yoga Zyklus, um das Lymphsystem in Gang zu bringen und jeder einzelnen Zelle im Körper soviel Sauerstoff wie möglich zu geben. Noch vor Arbeitsbeginn absolviert er dann Injektionen, Einnahme von Ergänzungsmitteln & enzymreichen, antioxidanten Pulvern und andere Behandlungen, von denen man lieber keine Details hört.

Es ist sehr schmerzhaft, ihn spätestens zwei Tage nach jeder Operation, noch im Krankenhaus, beim Tai-Chi, und dann zwei Wochen später auch wieder auf der Yoga-Matte, zu sehen und dennoch die Metastasen in gleicher Hartnäckigkeit nachwachsen zu haben.

Es ist uns deshalb bewusst, dass wir dringend etwas ändern müssen und wir haben die große Hoffnung, entscheidende Hilfe und Unterstützung in einer der seltenen, ganzheitlichen Krebs-Spezial-Kliniken in Deutschland zu finden, um unseren Weg zur Heilung fortsetzten zu können.

Leider sind aber inzwischen unsere finanziellen Mittel am Ende.

Wir sind jedem/er zu tiefst dankbar, der/die uns ermöglicht, dem Aufenthalt dennoch etwas näher zu kommen und ich hoffe, dass Marc noch für eine lange Zeit mit mir und den Kindern sein wird – und wir dann in Zukunft anderen helfen können, die einen ähnlichen Weg zu gehen haben.
