Hi Everyone!!! My name is Marc and I am fundraising to get to the Spartan Race World Championships in Abu Dhabi. This will be my second time qualifying for the world championship competition and I am super excited for this opportunity to show what I have been training for. I will be running 2 different races at this event; an 8 mile race on Friday evening then a 13 mile race on Saturday afternoon. My spartan race journey started in 2017 as just an opportunity to keep running after college but that's when the internal fire began. Four years and countless races later, the journey that started as just something to do transformed not only into a passion for the competition and camaraderie but has produced a great deal of growth and development. Over the past 4 years, the day to day grind of training has gotten me through some really tough personal and professional obstacles. From the highest of highs to the lowest of lows, these races have helped me find the warrior within me that I had "lost" for a bit of time and have been integral in helping my light shine, which hasn't been the easiest especially in the times of COVID. I am seeking help with traveling expenses such as flight, food, hotel, etc and any funds raised will aid in these expenses. I will be documenting more of my journey from training to competitions on my social media pages.
