Our beautiful friend Mara recently had to undergo an unexpected emergency surgery, and while the procedure was successful, it came with some complications. What was meant to be a few days of recovery has turned into a recovery journey that will span much longer.

If you know Mara, you know she’s handling it the only way she knows how—with grace, humor, and a whole lot of love. She’s a rockstar mom of four little ones under 6, and while she’s powering through like the warrior she is, the truth is… she needs some backup.
