Help Maqeel with surgery costs
Donation protected
I am fundraising for my Nephew Maqeel who lives in kenya. Please see the message below from Maqeel’s mum
Assalamualaikum,
Maqeel has been through more than most children ever should. At the age of 4, by the will of Allah (SWT), he underwent a bone marrow transplant to combat an autoimmune disorder called Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome. It was a life-saving procedure.
With the help of kind and generous friends and family, and the duas of everyone who kept Maqeel in their prayers, we were able to successfully raise the necessary funds for his treatment.
Now, years later, Maqeel is struggling with a condition called Genu Valgus, more commonly known as “knock knees.” This progressive condition has started to affect his ability to walk and his overall quality of life. After numerous consultations with doctors, we’ve been told that the only treatment is through surgery and extensive physiotherapy.
On this occasion, I am again humbly asking for your support in helping us cover the cost of this treatment. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a world of difference in Maqeel’s life. If you’re unable to donate, simply sharing this message would mean the world to us and help us reach more kind hearts.
The total cost of the required treatment, including the surgery and hospital fees, was estimated at USD 10,000.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your continued support during this incredibly difficult time. Your kindness is giving Maqeel the chance to live a life free from the limitations of his condition.
