Help MAPS Put an Airplane in the Hands of our Missionary Aviators

We have an incredible, time-limited opportunity—and we need your help to make it happen.

The Missionary Airframe and Powerplant School (MAPS) is the youth ministry and hands-on aviation training program of Texas Air Missions, designed to prepare young people for service in missionary aviation. Our students are learning the skills that will take them from the classroom to the cockpit, the maintenance hangar, and eventually the mission field.

We have been blessed with the opportunity to purchase an airplane that could become an important part of that training. But the opportunity won't last forever. We need to raise an additional $10,000 in the next month.

This isn't just an airplane.

This airplane will give MAPS students the opportunity to learn by actually working on, maintaining, inspecting, and flying an aircraft. It will help them understand the relationship between the things they learn in textbooks and the real-world demands of aviation.
For aspiring pilots, it provides an opportunity to build experience and confidence.

For future aircraft mechanics, it provides a real aircraft on which they can learn the skills of inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

For students who dream of serving others through missionary aviation, it provides a tangible connection to the ultimate purpose of what they're learning.

And for everyone, it’s a platform for our team to share the Good News of Jesus with our neighbors and those in remote places.

We have been offered the perfect airplane at an amazing price.

We have an opportunity to purchase an airplane that is an excellent fit for the MAPS program at a price that represents an exceptional opportunity for us.

The challenge is that we need to raise the additional funds quickly.
Our goal is $10,000.

We aren't looking to put this airplane in a hangar and let it sit.
We will put it to work.

Every dollar raised will help us acquire this aircraft that can be used to train the next generation of pilots and aircraft mechanics and serve the mission field in the remote areas in and around Texas.

Your donation can help put an airplane in the hands of students and missionary pilots.
Maybe you can give $25.
Maybe you can give $100.
Maybe you can give $500—or perhaps you know someone who could help us fund a significant portion of the purchase.

Whatever you can give, you are not simply helping us buy an airplane. You are investing in students. You are giving to His kingdom.
You’re helping prepare someone who will one day use those skills to take the Gospel, humanitarian aid, medical assistance, or other vital services to people who are difficult to reach by road.

You’re making it possible for our missionary pilots to do that right now.

Help us get this airplane into the hands of our students and missionary pilots.

We have the opportunity.
We have the students.
We have the instructors.
Now we need the resources to put an airplane to work.

Will you help us reach our $10,000 goal?

If you can donate, thank you. If you can't, please take a moment and pray for and share this campaign with your friends, church, aviation community, and anyone who believes in investing in young people and sharing the love of Christ.

Every donation and every share brings us one step closer.

Thank you for believing in MAPS and in the young people we are privileged to serve!
