Help Manuel While Recovering From Donor Surgery

Hi, my name is Joe Mares Jr and I’m reaching out to help get support for my brother, Manuel. We didn’t want to put anything out there until the date was set, but he will be donating a kidney to a dear family friend, Jonica Ramirez, on Tuesday, January 25th, 2022. Jonica suffers from severe HGA Kidney Disease and has been on dialysis for nearly 2 years, but with the disease progression she was placed on the transplant list in August 2021. Manuel will be out of work for 4-6 weeks while he is recovering from the surgery. When he found out that Jonica needed a kidney, he didn’t even hesitate to offer to help her, regardless of knowing the difficulties that come with such an extensive surgery. Manuel is the most selfless and caring person you will ever meet and will help anyone around him who is in need and he never asks for anything in return, so now it is our turn to help him out during his time of need. He is the primary source of income, so having this money to support him and his family while he is out of work recovering will be life-changing.
