Help Manuel Thrive Despite Adversity

My name is Yvette and I have created this GoFundMe on behalf of a local SFV street vendor by the name of Manuel. Manuel has been living in Los Angeles for a year now and has been working hard trying to make a living to support his family.

About 12 years ago, Manuel suffered a terrible accident where he was injured by a train and tragically lost both of his legs, leaving him bound to a wheelchair. Despite his disability, Manuel REFUSES to give up and works hard to get ahead day by day. Manuel’s mornings start early as he needs to catch multiple modes of transportation from Los Angeles, to arrive in the San Fernando Valley and begin his day selling fresh coconuts and large bags of oranges.
