Our lawn guy, Manuel, is someone who works incredibly hard for our community. He is dependable, honest, and always shows up without complaint. Yesterday, on January 2, 2026, something devastating happened: Manuel’s truck, trailer, and all of his lawn equipment were stolen at gunpoint in the High Meadows neighborhood, right in front of our home. This equipment was Manuel’s only source of income and how he supports himself and his family. We are extremely thankful that Manuel and his helper were not physically harmed. It could have ended much worse, and we are grateful they are safe. We are still waiting on a promised call from authorities so we can forward video footage to support his police case. Time matters, and any help or visibility could make a real difference.

I am tired of seeing innocent, hardworking members of our community not be safe in this area—especially in this line of work, where they are known to carry cash and are often targeted because criminals assume they won’t report it.
