Help Mansfield Overcome Medical Expenses Fighting Leukemia

Good evening, all. My name is Mansfield Warren. I am a disabled 62-year-old male. I am a father, a vet, and a good man. I have 3 children all of which are grown and good people. At my ripe old age, life threw me a curve ball. It was definitely life changing. During covid living by myself I decided to create a bucket list. If covid taught me anything, it was life is short! On my bucket was to get my passport, take a trip, and go to college. I applied for and received my passport. Instead of trip right away with covid still in the air, I decide to enroll in college at Bronx Community College, online courses. I started classes in fall of 2022. Things were going well. Honor roll, Presidents list, and a 3.85 GPA. Well in the Spring of 2024, life stepped in. I was diagnosed with acute Leukemia. Leukemia? I didn't even know what it was. Of course I had heard of it. I informed my advisor and professors I needed to take time off to figure things out. I was diagnosed at the Veterans hospital but was advised by my doctor there to seek a second opinion at Memorial Sloan Kettering. I did and they accepted and decided to treat me. I entered the hospital on February 29th to begin my chemotherapy. After 2 inductions of chemo, I was found to be in remission. Treatment will be continued but I have a second chance at life. I was discharged on May the 14th. I am just learning how to walk again and do the things we sometimes take for granted. My medical coverage is Medicare. They cover 80% of a bill and the patient covers the other 20%. I was in Memorial for almost 2 1/2 months. Where I must say, they do a great job of treating what is ailing. I am asking for help raising money for what i know will be astronomical charges. I have asked for help raising this amount because I have nowhere else to turn. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
