Help Manny's Family Through This Crisis

I’m reaching out today with a heavy heart to share some difficult news about our dear brother Manny and his wife, Leidy. While visiting their daughter in South Carolina for Parents' Weekend, Manny returned to the hotel to find Leidy unconscious in the bathroom. Thankfully, he found her in time and got her to the hospital, but the situation is critical. Leidy suffered a blood vessel rupture, and she is currently on a ventilator. Doctors are still trying to determine the full extent of her condition, suspecting a possible stroke or aneurysm with bleeding in her brain.

In this incredibly challenging time, Manny had to fly his other children down in an emergency, as doctors advised him to get them there as soon as possible. With no clear answers from the medical team, Manny and his family face an uncertain road ahead. It could be weeks, even months, before they can leave South Carolina, which means a significant financial burden due to medical costs, hotels, flights, and more.

As Manny’s family and friends, we are doing all we can to support him and his children. The two boys will be heading back next week for school, and we will continue to be there for them through this difficult journey. But we also need your help. Life can deal us unexpected and unimaginable challenges, and this is one of those times when we must come together as a unit.
