Help Manny's Daughter and Family at This Time of Great Loss

It is with great sadness to announce the sudden passing of Manny Deguzman. Manny was a doting father of seven year old Solaire, loving brother, uncle and friend. His hard work ethic, sense of humor and love of family will be greatly missed.

Manny joined our Roosevelt Island community at fourteen years old working at Pete's deli for eighteen years before becoming a maintenance man for Roosevelt Landings (Eastwood) and keeping our buildings in order for 25 years! Our small community has lost a great man, an original and he will be missed by his coworkers and the people he touched with his upbeat demeanor and ready smile.

I would like to ask our Roosevelt Island community to donate what you can to help his beautiful daughter and lovely family get through this most difficult time. Thank you.
