Help Manny the Janitor

Manny Vassiliadis is the main janitor who helps us with hoops, and really set the whole tone with letting us play an extra 30 minutes each time we play. Now all the janitors follow that sort of plan, and we have Manny to thank.  Unfortunately, Manny was diagnosed with cancer (throat I think) about a year ago (you may have noticed his voice being raspy) and understandably is concerned about taking care of his family. While we can't help with all of his problems, I'd like to put together a show of support for him from the guys he's been watching play hoops for many years.  Instead of passing around a hat, I decided to go hi-tech and raise money this way.  

I'm looking for OTH guys to chip in and raise a good sum for him in order to present it to him before Christmas (and post-Chanukah). I'll check to see what Thursday he'll be working and let everyone know when we can present the gift to him if you'd like to show up in person.  I know it's a busy time of year, with lots of commitments of our time and money, but many of us are much more fortunate than Manny in this holiday season and can hopefully afford to donate some dough to help him during this time.  So give what you can - if we all do so we should easily be able to put together the $1500 goal I'm hoping to see, or exceed it.
