My son, Emanuel Rial, a 10th grader at Dunnellon High School in Ocala, Florida, has been working hard training to compete in the Eastern NICA Regional in Fair Hill Recreation Area, Elkton, MD, on November 8-9. Many people know him as Manny, and he started mountain biking in 2024 with the Florida National Interscholastic Cycling Association. He ended the season in the top 10 in Florida and has been training to be able to participate in the regional in November. He has trained harder than we have ever seen him train. This sport has helped Manny maintain his grades up and keep him heading to a fabulous school year. We are so proud of the young man he is becoming and his dedication to the mountain bike world. This sport requires a lot of endurance training and discipline. Manny also continues, in the midst of training for Regionals, to participate in the Florida State Championship mountain bike series, which also takes a lot of time on the weekends. Of course, like every other sport, it is very costly for us parents. We would like to please ask if there are any ways anyone can help with any of the travel expenses; we would truly appreciate it. His hard work cannot go unnoticed, and we as parents want to make sure we can continue to support him all the way through.
