Manisha is facing eviction on March 15. Manisha has been in a struggle with her county's Housing Authority and HUD for over a year. She has a housing voucher to assist with the payment for an apartment with special accommodations for her disabilities but she was denied an increase needed to stay in her apartment. As a homebound individual she has limited options for getting support and has been failed multiple times by systems that should be providing a safety net. Manisha has been working tirelessly learning about laws and public policy to better advocate for herself and others in similar situations. As she continues her work, she needs the support of her community and beyond.

The leasing office will evict her on Monday, March 15 at 11 AM if she doesn't pay.

Donating to this fund will help her pay for her shelter, bills, and legal expenses. Any extra donations will assist her in her educational goals as she hopes to go to law school in order to fight these injustices on behalf of others.
