Help Mango Walk Pain-Free Again
Donation protected
Mango is a cuddly and energetic orange cat, but recently he has been having problems with his legs. After a vet visit, we learned that his femur head and hip joints don't fit the way they are supposed to. This means that his legs often dislocate from his hips, making it painful to put pressure on them. The vet told us that the only way to fix this would be to remove the femur head and let scar tissue form a new "false joint". This procedure is called FHO (Femoral Head Ostectomy) surgery. The vet told us that it will cost us approximately $3,500 per leg. This is a lot of money but it will save Mango's legs. With your help he will have zoomies all night, and jump on things he's not supposed to again!
