Mango is a gentle, nine-year-old cat who has spent most of his life as a stray. My rescue group picked him up after noticing he was struggling to survive on his own. Years without consistent food, water, or proper care have taken a toll on his health. When I first met Mango, he was underweight and clearly in pain, but he still greeted me with a hopeful purr and constantly rubs his head on me for affection. 

Unfortunately, visits to the vet show that he has significant dental problems and elevated liver enzymes, which require ongoing treatment. Mango needs a special diet, continued medications, and dental care—including cleaning and extractions—to give him the best chance at a healthy future.
