Mango, my 8-year-old ESA cat, has been my constant companion as I navigate life in a new city and manage my anxiety. We are truly inseparable, and his presence has made a huge difference in my well-being as a full-time student at UCSB. Mango has helped me adapt, offering comfort and companionship every day.

Recently, Mango was diagnosed with severe gum disease, which required surgery to remove nine of his teeth. During the procedure, the vet discovered a mass in the back of his throat—a surprise that added to the stress and cost. The mass was removed and sent for lab testing, and the total expenses ended up being much higher than I had anticipated. I spent the majority of my savings to make sure Mango got the care he needed, but as I’m still on the hunt for a job, covering these costs has become overwhelming.

This fundraiser will help me pay for Mango’s surgery, lab tests, and support his recovery so he can continue to be the loving companion I rely on. Any support means the world to us, and I’m grateful for every bit of help as we get through this challenging time together.
