On Monday the 3rd, Mandy was brutally attacked in her home. She was stabbed in the chest and stomach a total of 11 times and beaten in the head repeatedly with a hammer. She suffered multiple skull fractures, traumatic brain injury, broken middle ear, broken orbital, all of her fingers on one hand were broken, and she was incredibly lucky that though one of the stab wounds went directly through her sternum, none of her major organs were hit.

The attacker is in police custody.

I've started this GoFundMe to raise money to help set her back up with a safe living situation when this is all over. Her home is being gutted currently as it looks like a terrible attempted murder scene. She is expected to recover, will have to do some time in an inpatient TBI rehab, and may still need additional surgeries to repair her ear and fingers later once she is stable.

I am taking the personal responsibility of making sure that all funds raised go only to projects that will help keep Mandy safe, medically related things, or things that will improve her quality of life after this.

She faces a long and difficult journey, and no person should have had to go through what she went through.
