Help Mandy Nguyen Battles Triple-Negative Breast Cancer

I am writing on behalf of my niece, Mandy Nguyen. She’s 22 years old and just graduated from Pacific Lutheran University Nursing School and is about to go on with her life’s passion for helping others. Mandy just started her career at SJMC for 2 months, ready to begin her exciting journey as a new nurse.

Unfortunately, sometimes life just doesn’t go as planned. On November 18th, Mandy was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. Mandy will receive chemotherapy every 3 weeks for the next 6 months, then will have breast surgery.

Mandy always goes above and beyond to help and always puts others before herself. While she was in nursing school, she was also the caregiver for her grandfather who at the time, was also battling cancer. She also found time to help out at the community urgent care clinic where she provided compassionate support for homeless and elderly patients.

This GoFundMe has been set up to help Mandy’s family ease the financial burdens of treatment so Mandy can focus on getting well.
