UPDATE: Had the surgical consult. We rally like the surgeon! He’s one of the top Onocology thyroid surgeons in the country. As of now surgery is set for October, but Mandy has to get her Calcium levels up, they are dangerously low. Weekly blood draws and trips down to the Houston Medical Center. It’s draining but Mandy has kept her spirits high throughout this!

Update: We had a consult with the Radiation Oncologist today(8-25). Now on to the surgical consult on Sept 8th. This is a fundraiser for Mandy Hickman. Mandy was diagnosed with cancer for the 3rd time since 2012. In 2012, Mandy was diagnosed with papillary cancer in her thyroid. As a result, she had her thyroid and parathyroid removed. In 2016, she was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma and had a total neck dissection, removing 17 tumors. She was in remission until recently. Mandy found another lump in her throat and just found out it is cancerous.

These donations will go directly for medical bills (surgery, radiation) and help with bills from time away from work.
