Hi, my name is Mandy.

For the past 12 years I've been battling illness, and as a result of that I became disabled and homeless.

The small amount I receive from disability does not give me the ability to find housing. When I feel physically able, I sleep in a tent in a national forest. However I am more often living out of my car. This is extremely difficult due to my physical disabilities, and inability to find a place to park my car overnight. Lately it has become extremely arduous.

For me, getting a small RV will provide me with more flexibility, safety, and comfort. I will be able to utilize different places and not be seen as a target or a criminal.

I have a 16 year old Chihuahua named Esteban, who I've had since 8 weeks old. A 15 year old Chihuahua named Carlos who I've had since birth, and a 3 year old German Shepherd who is an ESA. Without her, I would not feel safe in these conditions.
