Hi everyone, 

 Mandi is my best friend of over 20 years with a heart of gold and a rare soul. She gives to others, loves to advocate, is a great social worker, humorous, smart, and outgoing. In the more than 20 years that I've known Mandi, she has cared for a countless number of relatives and friends and is always there to support in a time of need. 

Mandi has now had a situation where the roles are reversed and she has been battling cancer. Although it has been successful through surgery and she has many people who are supportive of her, this is a longer battle and a much bigger picture. We are looking at high long-term medical costs with thorough doctors who won’t let her fall through the crack, consistent lab work, scans, and different forms of treatment until it is safe to say she is in remission. Even once she is in remission, Mandi is in a high risk category for recurrence.
