I’m Amanda Cathcart, aka Mandi to most. As many know I was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma on my tongue.. I just turned 40, fighting the big C is not how I planned on spending the end of 2025. Unfortunately it’s just the beginning. Had biopsy done November 24, found out December 2nd that I had it. It’s been numerous doctor visits and scans. Test upon test. I haven’t been able to work, medical bills are stacking up. Today december 17th I was hit with another stone. I will have to have all teeth removed and heal before I can have radiation. Feeding tube while mouth heals.. one thing after another. I’ve been a active member of the lpvfd for over 18 years, helped out people in the community so now I’m here askin for a little help..
