Mamoshi came into my life during one of my darkest moments. I was grappling with deep depression and anxiety, feeling overwhelmed by intrusive thoughts that clouded my mind. It was a chilly October night when everything changed. As I sat in silence, I heard a faint cry piercing through the stillness.

When I opened my door, I found a tiny, trembling kitten—barely able to walk—left on my doorstep. I couldn’t believe someone would abandon such a precious soul. From that moment on, Mamoshi became my light in the darkness. He gave me new hope and purpose, perhaps his mission was to guide me toward healing.

At first, his playful scratches led to concern from my doctor, who mistook them for self-harm. They sent me for emergency therapy, but it was Mamoshi’s presence that truly helped me begin to heal. With the support of professionals and the unconditional love of my little angel, I started to find my way back to myself.

Fast forward two and a half years, and Mamoshi has blossomed into the sweetest companion anyone could ask for. He loves me fiercely, just as I love him. It breaks my heart to see him now facing a life-threatening condition.

For those who know me personally, you understand how deeply I care for my fur babies—they are my family and my only companions. We truly need each other; I didn’t rescue him—he rescued me in every sense of the word.
