Help Mamma Karen with her Medical Bills

Hi, my name is Gillian Thornback and I am doing a GoFundMe to help my dear friend Karen Brock with her medical bills. Earlier this year, Karen had a surgery to remove a Tumor in her brain and mended well. Karen was given the ok to fly to Wales in September to be present for the birth of Jay (her son) & Michelle's 1st baby, which was exciting. She was to return on October 18th. Whilst there, Karen developed an infection in the incision and had to have surgery once again to reopen the incision, take out bone and put a drain in. She was hospitalized for several weeks 3 hours away from Jay & Michelle. Karen was not allowed to fly back home either due to the pressure that would be endured. Also along with that, there was no insurance as she had a pre-existing condition. Once released from hospital, Karen had to have daily visits to monitor the incision and the picc line. Her bills have just been building up and up. The first one amounted to $5000 Canadian and we have not received the following bills since then. Gord, her husband, was able to fly over partway thru and be with Karen during this emotional, scary time. A flight was finally booked for her return on December 1st but once they got to the airport, COVID tests were not received and had to be repeated costing an extra $400, missed their flight, had to rebook with the flights costing double the amount of the original flights. Almost as soon as Karen arrives back in Canada, she will be whisked off to have a CT Scan on her brain once again to see where things are at with the infection. Now Karen and Gord stand firm in their faith in Jesus Christ and have clung to Him during this crazy time! He has been a solid rock for them to stand on and lean into. But they also need our help ... we can be the hands and feet of Christ...please consider to donate and help Karen with her medical bills!!!
