Hi I’m Mamabear and I was diagnosed with long covid and hyperinflation in my lungs which is irreversible as well as bronchitis and COPD. I am 59 years old and I have no medical insurance at my job. I haven’t been able to work in one month and it doesn’t look like I can go back anytime soon.

I have to go see a lung specialist and not having insurance and being self pay I have to pay everything up front. I’m on the verge of losing everything I have worked my entire life for because of this stupid virus.

I have never done this before…ask people for money but I am scared and I am sick. I am at a loss of what else I can do. Anything would be appreciated. I just need to get to the doctor and have proper care as I have been in and out of the hospital and within 3 days of being there they already billed me some.
