Can you imagine being in your 70’s and going to work a job as a caregiver everyday? I had the privilege of working with rose at pinewood terrace in colville. She is always happy, smiling, and inviting. She busts her buns everyday to ensure her residents have the best care she can give, often going without lunch or any breaks to do so. 

After a few rough patches with her health she was left with staggering medical copays. She still worked even through her illnesses unless she was in the hospital! To add a cherry on top in August 2019 a wind storm cane through and she had a tree come crashing through her bedroom roof. It can’t be fixed, and she needs a new travel trailer to live in. Right now she is still living in it, and has a tarp covering the damage to keep the elements out. However, as the temperatures drop that won’t work. 

Rose would NEVER ask for help. The trailer she wants is going to be 5,000 down. She plans on working as much as possible and saving to hopefully have the money in the spring, but I know if every person she has ever touched donated even $1 we can make sure she has a comfortable winter.
