Hi! My name is Lori and I am fundraising for our Mom, Regina. For the first time in my life I am asking for assistance for Mama Regina. This is so hard for me because I am a private person and have pride. Recent events have led to the Go Fund me page, Mama Regina has had three strokes in the past few weeks and was in the hospital for an extended period of time. Mama Regina is home and under Hospice care.

I have been a caregiver most of my adult life. My mama Regina is a 92 year old incredible woman who has been through a lot in life. She is a Holocaust survivor. Her childhood was stolen from her. I want her remaining years to be filled with joy and love. I made this promise to her when I was a young girl. I will always care for Mama Regina.

Mama Regina is in the comfort of her home. She is still eating but unfortunately cannot communicate like she previously did. Medicare does not cover specific items like they normally did in the past. I have to pay out of pocket. The prices are outrageous.

This is why I started the Go Fund Me page. I am a caregiver for Mama Regina and do not bring in any income. I know she is fighting for her life and I am fighting for her so she can have the important needs met in her life.

She is my last parent. I love her so very much! Help us! I need to keep her dignity and respect as long as I have her with me. Home is Home and that’s where she will be.
