Hi there everyone. It's me iris but most people outside my blood family knows me as mama. As most of you know I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer back in May 2023. I waiting to tell my son Marcellus who at the time was about to graduate high school. I chose not to tell him until after his graduation about the diagnosis. I wanted him to enjoy himself. As most of you know I went through several different cancer treatments. Chemotherapy, radiation and keytruda. They all come with their own different side effects. I have had a right side mastectomy which has had its own set of issues. I am now come June 11th about to have a left side mastectomy.They will also began the reconstruction. Fat will be took from my back .The past two years have been an emotional, physical, mental and financial set of ups and downs. The constant unknowns. What I do know is that I appreciate everyone in advance who has been there for me. The love and support. The battle is almost over because I choose to live.
