Bernarda is a loving mother of SIX incredible children and 3 grandchildren. She was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer in January and had an immediate surgery to remove the tumor and 40 lymph nodes. She is now beginning a combination of chemotherapy and radiation treatments and we are asking for your help.
‘Mama B’ is the rock of the family and this has taken a large toll on the many people that depend on her love and support! We must beat the cancer, she is just 49 and has so much more life to live!
So far we have had best case scenarios and feedback from the team of doctors working with her. She recovered quickly from the surgery and her test results are encouraging.
What we are asking to help fund:
- Travel to and from the doctor in Morelia (9 hours on bus)
- Air BnB when she requires extended stay in Morelia.
- The tumor and breast removal surgery (extended stay, this is where we are now)
-Chemotherapy (This begins February 5th)
-Radiation Therapy (Extended Stay)
-Prescriptions/Medication
-Food (Special diet)
