A mother should never have to bury her child. A family should never have to grieve in fear. We are raising funds to lay Baby Merci Watson, age 4, to rest, and to provide clothing and essential items for his brothers after a heartbreaking act of senseless gun violence took his life on December 16, 2025, at 12:57 PM. Merci leaves behind his grieving mother, Mama Alice Grant, and his two brothers, Yuri Joseph Horlback and Dexton Watson, whose lives have been forever changed.

This family is not safe in their current home and must relocate immediately to protect the remaining children while they mourn this unimaginable loss. Every donation helps bring dignity to Baby Merci’s homegoing and safety, stability, and hope to his family.
