Update on Malu 7/25/24-

Malu had heart surgery on 7/23/24. Everything went as planned. The doctors say she is recovering very well. She tells me she is doing everything they are asking her to do. I'm inspired by her strength emotionally and physically.

We have raised enough money to pay for one month's rent. Thank you to everyone!!! Now let's raise enough money to pay another month's rent. Thank you!

Malú se sometió a una cirugía de corazón el 23/07/24. Todo salió según lo planeado. Los médicos dicen que se está recuperando muy bien. Me dice que está haciendo todo lo que le piden. Estoy impresionado con su fuerza emocional y física.

7/10/24 Hi, my name is Sandy and I have the pleasure of working with Malu. Malu is the smiling face we all are welcomed to at the laundromat. She is warm, caring, and welcoming to everyone. Malu is hard-working, the mother of two sons, and a grandmother to a grandson.

Malu needs our help. She is having heart surgery soon and will need to take time off of work to recover and get well. She is eager to come back to work and see all of you. First, she needs to care for herself. Let's help her help herself!
