Help Mallory Heal: Support Her Hysterectomy & Recovery ❤️‍

Our girl Mallory needs us. After battling her reproductive health for over 20 years, she’s finally facing an extensive hysterectomy this spring to treat her stage 4 endometriosis. This is a life-changing, necessary surgery—one she has put off for years because it was never the “right time” or financially feasible. Now, her body is forcing her hand.

Because this won’t be a simple surgery, Mallory has to undergo a myriad of testing, biopsies, and imaging before a date can even be set. Her doctors need a full picture of what they’re dealing with to plan the safest and most effective approach. In the meantime, her pain continues to worsen, making even daily activities feel impossible.

Over the past two years, working as a hairstylist has become increasingly difficult due to the severity of her condition, and at this point, it’s nearly impossible. The constant pain and fatigue make it hard to stand for long periods, meaning not only has she struggled to work, but she’s also lost the ability to do the things that bring her joy—like dancing, which she can barely do anymore.

Recovery will take at least two months, during which she won’t be able to work. As a hairstylist, Mallory doesn’t have PTO—no paid leave, no safety net. She covers her own health insurance, which has quadrupled in cost, and her salon expenses don’t stop just because she can’t be behind the chair.

To focus fully on healing, Mallory is moving back in with her parents, whom she adores. This will help relieve the financial and emotional stress of maintaining a home while recovering. But even with this move, the burden of medical bills, lost income, and salon overhead remains daunting. She’s already exhausted from navigating insurance battles, struggling through debilitating daily pain, and trying to make ends meet.

Mallory has spent years showing up for others—giving, loving, supporting, and making people laugh even when she’s struggling herself. If you’ve ever sat in her chair, shared a laugh with her, or felt her generosity, now is the time to return the love.

The U.S. healthcare system is brutal, but we can come together to lighten her load. Every dollar raised will go toward surgery costs, recovery expenses, and ensuring she can return to work when she’s ready—without the added stress of financial strain.

If you can, please donate. If you can’t, sharing this helps too. Let’s make sure Mallory can focus on what matters most: healing and starting the next chapter of her life pain-free.

Thank you for your love and support.
