Help Mallory get healthy!

Calling all friends of Mallory Carranza:

 

We all know the light and joy that is Mallory. Whether she’s teaching kids in the classroom, hostessing at a restaurant, or two-stepping on the dance floor, Mallory brings her generous spirit and trademark laugh. Her good attitude and optimism are contagious, and they make our days better.

 

Mallory doesn't always talk about it, but she's had health issues in the past few years. She had her thyroid removed, which required multiple surgeries that caused painful scarring, and that weren’t fully covered by her insurance. Mallory had to go into debt. Now, she has another surgery coming up for a separate medical issue of a sensitive nature. She was on the way to getting out from under her medical debt and repairing her credit, and now this.

 

Mallory didn’t want to ask for help, but I told her that I think it’s dumb go into crushing debt over a medical issue when you have a community of people who love you and want to help. So if you know and love Mallory, please chip in to help us get her healthy, debt-free, and back on the dance floor when she feels ready.
