Mallah is our two year old Pomeranian, and she is truly our whole world. She’s not just a pet, she’s family, our little best friend, and the light in our everyday lives. Recently, our lives were turned upside down when Mallah suddenly became paralyzed in three of her four limbs. Watching her go from a happy, energetic dog to struggling just to move has been absolutely heartbreaking. In our desperation to help her, we did everything we could including an MRI to that revealed that Mallah is suffering from Pleocytosis and MUO. These are serious conditions that caused inflammation in her spinal fluid and have led to her paralysis. Hearing this was devastating, but we’re holding onto hope.

Despite everything, Mallah is still the same sweet, loving soul, and so full of life. She loves to play, run, dig, and her joyful personality still shines through even on her hardest days. She doesn’t understand what’s happening to her, she just keeps trying, and that’s what keeps us fighting for her.

We are determined to give Mallah the best chance at recovery. With the right treatment, medications, and physical therapy, there is real hope that she can regain her mobility and live a full, happy life again. Unfortunately the cost of her care is overwhelming, and we can’t do it alone. We’re asking for help during the hardest time we’ve ever faced.
