On the morning of November 25, 2024, our world was shattered when my beautiful, sweet, and ambitious daughter’s life was tragically taken by an act of senseless gun violence. She was simply out enjoying time with a friend when a cowardly act stole her from us far too soon.

As her mother, my heart is broken beyond words. My daughter was a kind and loving soul, cherished by all who knew her. She was one of six children in our family—a light that brightened so many lives.

This unexpected loss has placed an immense emotional and financial burden on our family. I am now faced with the heartbreaking responsibility of laying my child to rest while trying to care for my grieving family during this unimaginable time.
