Hey everyone, my name is Malina and I'm a poc transwoman living and working in Arizona.
I am very thankful to everyone who has donated to my medical treatments, and for those who have not been able to donate but have helped me share my message I am just as thankful to you too!
Since transitioning I’ve gained a great sense of pride in who I am, and have been so happy to experience self-actualization in a way I never imagined possible. I began hormone replacement therapy (estrogen) at the start of my transition, which has done wonders for my mental state. Now that my mental health has improved, I have been able to take time to focus on continuing my transition, and am very excited for the next step.
Top Surgery will help to relieve a great amount of the gender dysphoria I experience on a daily basis, and I’m so looking forward to the day where I can feel comfortable leaving the house without feeling insecure about how I look. Additionally, this will help provide me with a degree of safety that I don't currently have as public harassment due to my gender identity and presentation have been a persistent issue throughout my transition.
I have had a consultation with the Surgeon who herself actually is a transwoman here in Scottsdale, AZ which helps a ton with someone understanding .
