Help Malik's Family Rebuild After Fire

Malik has been a cornerstone of our New Haven team since he joined as a dishwasher in 2019, recently marking an incredible five years with Pepe's. During the pandemic, when times were toughest, Malik stepped up as the sole dishwasher and filled any role needed, embodying the true spirit of dedication and teamwork. His hard work and resilience earned him a promotion to trainer and made him an irreplaceable part of our family.

Today, Malik and his family need our help. Last week, he, his partner Tycona, and their precious two-year-old daughter Malaysia lost their home and all their belongings to a devastating fire. They are currently staying in a hotel and searching for a new place to call home. Despite this tragedy, Malik remains hopeful, and the family is looking forward to celebrating Malaysia’s second birthday on December 23rd.
