Hi, our names are Malik and Shamiah.

On October 19, 2025, our 4-month-old son, Saphari, passed away unexpectedly from SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome). He was such a beautiful, happy baby — always smiling, talking, and bringing light into every room. He loved to eat, to be held, and to be close to his family.

This loss has completely broken our hearts. No parent should ever have to go through something like this. We are starting this GoFundMe to help cover funeral and memorial expenses as we say our final goodbyes and honor his short but beautiful life.
