Malik has been fighting for his vision since birth.

Malik was born with congenital cataracts, which were successfully treated when he was just 3 months old. In the years that followed, he was diagnosed with Advanced Juvenile Glaucoma — a severe and progressive condition that has already taken the sight in his left eye and now threatens the vision in his right eye. Without urgent treatment, Malik could face permanent blindness.

Medical Update - February 2026: In early February 2026 Malik completed a comprehensive consultation at the renowned Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, one of the top eye hospitals in the world, especially for pediatric care. After thorough evaluations, his Opthalmologist, has recommended surgery, as the next critical step in managing his condition and protecting his vision.

Unfortunately, the cost of this surgery, travel, post-operative care, medications, and specialized treatments is more than our family can afford at this time. Your support will go directly toward ensuring Malik receives the urgent care he needs.
