I’m Marisah Malia Izquierdo, I’m a mom to a 6yr old autistic son, Aven. Which is the reason I survived & always live for him, until my last breath.
I’m a very hard worker, always have been. Spent most of my early 17s- 20s working multiple jobs, up to three at the same time. To make sure my son could live his life with stability and love.
I have been providing for my son and myself, for over 8 years. We had stability, yes, i still struggled. But not the kind of struggle I am going through now every single day of my life. If you cannot donate, I understand, but please I beg you share the link. I don’t want lose the Only House My Son has been s since birth. Many changes can affect, my son, gradually due to his disability, we avoid change. His mother change and I can’t describe in words how loving patience, brave he’s been throughout all of this. It was a regular day for me, but I was in a terrible accident where I should’ve died in.
But I didn’t, instead I’m a triple amputee & 40% burn survivor with burns on all my body. I was driving a seizure came on, crashed hit a tree. I lost my left hand below the elbow on impact (the engine of my car crushed it off) I hit my head & my car caught fire. My right foot below the knee wasn’t able to be saved due to the fact I was in the car to long & essentially my foot below the knee was charred off (5th degree burn). I had 3rd degree burns starting from the tips of my fingers (my pinky was charred off too) up and around my arm/shoulder down to half my backside.
I’m in the process of getting my prosthetics. I have an appointment July 18 to get casted for my leg finally after months being in bed every bone muscle aches in my body. At the Hanger clinic.
I’ve never thought of making a goFundme, but I’m in need. I’m still in recovery & haven’t even started learning how to walk yet.
Any and all money will go to my monthly bills, rent, light, etc.
I have contacted and applied for disability & housing assistance but that was back on Jan 9th. I recently contacted SSI & they are saying it could take up to a year for my case to be reviewed, same for housing.
My son almost lost me, his mother & I don’t want him to lose the house he’s growing up in too.
If you can’t donate this time cause come on, I know the world’s economy sucks. I’ve used all my savings to keep my head above water. Then please just share, share, share. Thank you.
